Pamela Cochrane has been a practicing kinesiologist since graduating from the University of British Columbia in 2011.
Kin To You was started in 2016 to fill a gap in the healthcare system – everyone knows it’s important to exercise, but how much? and what kind is best? and how do you do it without hurting yourself?
There is a need for educated professionals to help people in their community feel confident exercising independently without pain or injury, so Kin To You is here to help! Kin To You provides mobile exercise rehabilitation throughout Metro Vancouver. Kinesiologists specialize in soft-tissue injury (such as whiplash from motor vehicle accidents), chronic pain (fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome), disease management, and active rehabilitation. Kinesiologists are all about movement!
A session with Kin To You starts with an intake of your health history to help our kinesiologists get a better idea of what helps you or hurts you. We provide a full body movement assessment, and then give you the appropriate exercises to help you move your best, pain free! A full hour, one-on-one session focused 100% on you means you will get the best outcome possible.
Kinesiologists are human movement specialists. Every practicing kinesiologist has a minimum of a four year university degree: we learn about biomechanics, anatomy, exercise physiology, and sports psychology, plus yearly continuing education. We make sure we use the most up to date, evidence-based research available. Rest assured that working with a kinesiologist will help you reach your goals. If you want to play softball pain-free, or run your first 5km (without injury!), or learn a great home workout, look no further.
Choosing Kin To You for your fitness goals, rehabilitation needs, or injury prevention means choosing dedicated, passionate kinesiologists that put you first. If you value experience, quality, and up-to-date education, kinesiologists are the way to go.
